Privacy Policy
Effective 17 September 2026
Rap Bible (“the App”) is a Bible-based music app developed by Nine8Twenty1 LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and CarPlay. This policy explains, in plain language, how the App handles information.
The short version. The App has no accounts and collects no personal information — no name, email, location, or advertising identifiers — and contains no third-party advertising or analytics.
Information the App handles
- An anonymous ID. On first launch the App creates a random identifier (a UUID), stored in the iCloud Keychain. It is not your name, email, Apple Account, phone number, or any advertising identifier, and it is not derived from them. This ID lets your likes, playlists, reading-plan progress and listening streak sync and return after reinstalling — with no login.
- Things you do in the App. When you like or dislike a song, report inaccurate lyrics (including any note you choose to type), create playlists, build reading plans, or build up a listening streak, that activity is saved on our servers and associated with your anonymous ID so it can sync. Public like counts may be visible to other users; your dislikes and lyric reports are private and used only to improve the catalog.
- Audio & downloads. Songs and catalog data are delivered from our servers. Songs you download are stored locally on your device and can be removed at any time from within the App.
- Standard server logs. Like any internet service, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver content and protect against abuse. We do not use it to identify you or combine it with your in-app activity.
How we use this information
Only to make the App work: to sync and restore your likes, playlists, plans and streak; to keep like counts accurate; to review reported lyrics; and to operate and secure the service. Nothing else.
Tips
Every chapter is free and nothing is locked behind a purchase. The App offers an optional tip jar under the More tab, handled entirely by Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the transaction; we never see your payment details, billing address, or name — only that a purchase completed.
No tracking, ads, or data sales
The App contains no advertising and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not track users across apps or websites. We do not sell or share your information with third parties, and nothing the App stores is used for advertising or marketing.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare (hosting, storage and database) to deliver audio and store the activity described above. Apple also processes ordinary app-store and delivery information as part of distributing the App; that processing is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy, not this one.
Children
The App is suitable for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and deletion
You can delete downloaded songs in the App at any time. Because the App has no accounts, the anonymous ID is the only handle on your synced activity: removing the App, and its iCloud Keychain entry, ends the association. If you would like the activity tied to your anonymous ID deleted from our servers, email us at the address below and we will remove it. You do not need to identify yourself to ask.
Scripture text
Scripture quotations and lyrics are from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), used by permission.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
